美国著名的法律英语教育家巴恩斯教授近日访问并接受了Lawspirit的聘书，正式成为Lawspirit的一员。巴恩斯教授多年潜心于法律英语的教学与研究工作，是“The Gateway to Mastering Legal English”系列产品的作者和版权人。他早年于美国杨栢翰大学获得政治学学士学位，其后从美国乔治·华盛顿大学获得MBA学位，后又从美国俄勒冈大学法学院获得法律博士（JD）学位, 他在美国拥有自己的律师事务所，有丰富的律师实践经验。他于2008年初受Lawspirit的邀请到中国专门从事法律英语的教学与研究工作。此前，他曾多次受邀到中国从事法律教育，并被包括哈尔滨工业大学（哈工大）法学院和宁波大学法学院等多所法学院系聘为英美法客座教授。此次加盟Lawspirit，巴恩斯教授将利用其多年研究和讲授法律英语的经验为中国律师、法务人员和法学院学子系统讲授法律语言。

Stephen G. Barnes is an American lawyer and law professor. He is the author and proprietor of The Barnes Green Book: The Gateway to Mastering Legal English. Mr. Barnes received his B.A. in political science from Brigham Young University, M.B.A. from The George Washington University, and his J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law. He lives in Beijing and teaches law at the China University of Political Science and Law. He is also a visiting law professor at the Harbin Institute of Technology School of Law and Ningbo University Law School. Mr. Barnes joined Lawspirit in 2008.
